Everyone in blog land, don't be worried because I'm in Siping now. I haven't had Internet access for about 10 days now, so I'm finally updating. The team arrived in Siping on Tuesday morning and have been setting up our places getting ready for teaching. We start this Monday. We know what we're teaching but are not quite sure what days and times. It's good being back and seeing some of the changes around campus. That's about all for now.

The evening of my last day in America for 2007 <insert sigh here> was spent with family celebrating my Nephew #1's birthday. He actually turns 3 on Saturday, August 25th, but, since I would be in China by then, we celebrated it on Wednesday, August 22nd. We went to Chuck E. Cheese which he absolutely loves! He'd been talking about his birthday for weeks and, whenever we ate out, he'd says, "It's Nehemiah's birthday." What I don't have a picture of is where Nehemiah hit the life-size Chuck E. Cheese in the gut. See the album "Neezee's Birthday" for pics. And I just recently added a video capturing the singing of "Happy Birthday" by the whole fam.

My sister had another boy yesterday, August 18 at 6:15 AM. He was 8 lbs. and 2 oz. and was 20.5 cm long. His name is Zao Grant Bearking Mickelson. Below is a video posted on YouTube which recorded the actual birthing. In my latest photo album, you can also see some pics of "Zao's Premiere".

I have not posted any blog entry for two weeks now because I've been basically lazy. I've been enjoying not studying, teaching or doing anything too productive. I've traveled around, talked about China to different groups, and have just *enjoyed* the Oklahoma heat. Today was the hottest day of the year at 103 degrees. Yikes! Anyway, I'm gearing up to returning soon. I'll TRY to post once or twice before I leave.
